Allen Rogers – Owner

Attorney Allen Rogers is sole owner of The Rogers Law Firm, PLLC located in historic downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina.   He is originally from Laurinburg, Scotland County, North Carolina.

Attorney Rogers attended Howard University from 1978 through 1982 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was a member of the Honors Program, Reserve Officer Training Corps, Alpha Phi Alpha and Alpha Phi Alpha Dean of Pledges.

He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC from 1982 through 1985 where he received his Juris Doctor.  He then went on to attend the University of Virginia, Judge Advocate Generals School, in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1986 where he was commissioned as a United States Army Judge Advocate (JAG) Lawyer.

Attorney Rogers served in the United States Army from 1986 to 1991 where he worked as an Assistant United States Attorney, Trial Counsel, Chief of Legal Assistance and Trial Defense Counsel. He has been in private practice from 1991 to present.  Attorney Rogers was named Up & Coming Best of 2011 Fayetteville Traffic Attorney.

Attorney Rogers is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, Pennsylvania State Bar, National Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, President of Fayetteville Area Coalition for Equality, Member of the Cumberland County Black Lawyers Association and a Member of the NAACP.

The Rogers Firm has been in business for over 20 years. Attorney Rogers attribute his success to Grace and Mercy! Attorney Rogers is the proud parent of two children, Trey and Chanei Rogers.

Aerial Chatman

ATTORNEY

Attorney Aerial Chatman, originally from Angier, North Carolina, joined The Rogers Law Firm in March 2022. He was brought up by his mother, who was a cosmetologist and his father, who worked as a mechanic. In 2010, Aerial earned a track and field scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington and graduated with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies in four years.

Aerial then attended Charlotte School of Law. While in law school, Aerial gained invaluable practical experience in the Driver’s License Restoration Clinic, at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office, and Domestic Violence Clinic, at Safe Alliance. Aerial received his Juris Doctor in December 2016 and passed the North Carolina state bar examination in February 2017.

Prior to joining Attorney Allen Rogers, Aerial was an Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County. While there, Aerial was responsible for prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor and traffic matters, including: Probation Violations, DWI, Speeding, Larceny, Assault on a Female, and Carrying Concealed Gun/Weapon. In addition, Aerial prosecuted felony offenses such as Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon, Drug Trafficking, and
Embezzlement cases.

Aerial is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of North Carolina, Cumberland County Bar, and the North Carolina Bar Association.

Aerial attributes his success to his parents, grandparents, and home community who allowed him to accomplish his educational and professional dreams while they worked tirelessly to support him. Now, Aerial spends much of his time finding ways to help his clients and citizens of Cumberland County.
